How to Download and Install Manually Drivers on Windows!

Since you make fresh install Windows whatever what version of the windows it is you may find that some feature from your device that doesn't work properly or even not work at all, well probably you haven't install the Drivers.

Some Device that doesn't have drivers installed in their Operating System will ignore the device itself and will not used by the operating system. For example you got an old Graphic card installed to your computer then you gonna reinstall your windows after the Installation you may find that your graphic resolution doesn't adjusted properly, the Aero desktop doesn't transparent anymore. well it probably Windows can't use your graphic card as it does.

And today were going to show you how to install the Drivers manually for free, you may find it some software driver finder can't actually find your device or you must have to pay for the software to download the drivers.



Check your Hardware Ids

To check your driver id first go to Control Panel then at the corner up to the right you will find View by section go click it then click the Category to Small icons, then Click Device Manager



on Device manager now click the device that which doesn't recognized by your computer, you can see the list of the unrecognized device by looking at the yellow exclamation mark icon like this. if you're using windows XP the icon should be an yellow question mark.
Now right click on your unidentified device and click Properties. Go to Details tab




At the Details tab you will see an Property section then on that section choose Hardware Ids.
You may find some different Value there but just copy the first one. by click at the first value then press CTRL+C on your keyboard to copy it

Alright were done getting the hardware ids now it's time to download that unidentified hardware.

Downloading the Hardware

We going to use free driver search its called DevID. its a free search driver site you don't need to pay anything to download from their site.

So lets go to http://devid.info/ and then paste your Hardware Ids there on their search engine and when the driver hardware ids found then you will something like this

You can choose your driver version depends on your Operating System and your System type like 64-bit or 32-bit


Installing the Driver

Now we on the final steps. We assume you have download the driver from the site, now were gonna install it.
If the files you've downloaded was an execution files setup then you just simply start the software. it will automatically installing driver device itself.
but if the files that you has been downloaded wasn't an setup and you can't find any executable files there then follow this instruction.

Make sure you extract the downloaded files into a folder, they probably compressed it into a .zip or .rar compression so you need some kind of software to extract it.

Then go back to Device Manager click on your Device which you haven't install the hardware then click Update Driver Software... like the image below



When a new window appears you should see option about updating your Driver method then just click Browse my computer for driver software.
Then you have to locate the extracted files into by clicking Browse... or just put the location of the driver folder in location box there, after that then click Next.




And we're done, you just installed an new Driver for your Hardware/Device manually, if you asked to restart you PC then just restart it.
